Hanwha, established in 1952, is dedicated to growing together with partners and customers. Across the entire range of its businesses, Hanwha delivers energy to customers, partners, communities as well as generations to come in order to make our future more vibrant and sustainable.

Hanwha and TotalEnergies jointly operate a large petrochemical complex consisting of 14 units in Daesan, South Chungcheong Province. Its output spans olefins and polyolefins (polypropylene, polyethylene, etc.), base petrochemicals (styrene monomer, etc.), fuels, solvents and other downstream petrochemicals used in everyday life.

S-Oil, established in 1976, has grown into one of the most competitive oil refiners in the Asia-Pacific region. It operates the Onsan Refinery, which has a capacity of 669,000 barrels per day, and other facilities that produce petrochemicals and lube base oils.
 

Kogas imports LNG from around the world and supplies it to power generation plants, gas utilities and city gas companies throughout Korea. Kogas produces and supplies natural gas, purifies and sells gas by-products, and builds and operates production facilities and the distribution network. It imports and exports natural gas for domestic and overseas markets and is also active in gas exploration and production.
Kogas has received sovereign credit ratings of A1 and A, the highest ever given to a Korean company by Moody's and S&P. 

TotalEnergies and Kogas

TotalEnergies supplies Kogas with LNG from its major projects and worldwide portfolio. The partners cooperate to ensure a secure supply of LNG to the Republic of Korea through several key long-term contracts. TotalEnergies and Kogas are also equity partners in Yemen LNG, Oman LNG and Australia's Gladstone LNG.
